Champey-sur-. The Pont-à-Mousson emergency center travels to the field to recruit volunteer firefighters

The center is looking for volunteer firefighters (SVP) to strengthen its workforce and guarantee rapid and effective intervention when necessary.

Curious and sporty candidates

It was during an information meeting in Champey on November 19 that Captain Jonathan Monchablon presented the issues and possibilities available to all people, men and women, aged 16 to 60. years, wishing to engage in this collective and united adventure. He stressed that volunteering within the SDIS is not only a way of contributing to the security of the territory, but also an opportunity to protect loved ones, friends and family.

He also detailed the steps to take to integrate the team and the training provided to new hires.

The SDIS is looking for candidates who are committed citizens, disciplined and respectful of the rules that govern the service. Recruiters particularly appreciate curious and athletic candidates. Emphasizing that for young non-adults, support facilities are also offered to help them integrate the service and familiarize themselves with the requirements of the mission.

Last tests of the year on December 7

The recruitment process includes physical skills tests and an interview. Candidates who pass these tests then follow a training course and integration courses. The SDIS offers four recruitment sessions per year, with the last of the year scheduled for Saturday, December 7 (morning) at the PAM SDIS.
