A five-month prison sentence was handed down by the criminal court of Mulhouse (Haut-Rhin) against a 50-year-old German, tried this Thursday, November 21, 2024, reports L’Alsace . The man, suspected of having burglarized a house, was confused thanks to a handprint found on a window that he had broken.

Originally from Bochum, Germany, the man appeared to be homeless. That day, he stole two boom boxes, a piece of furniture, a toiletry bag, a cutting board and siphoned gasoline from a vehicle. He did not appear at the hearing.
