The Saturday November 23, 2024 in Saint-Pierre-du-Regard (Orne), the departure of the two hikes, hiking and Cycling, will be given from the school, where challenges for children will be offered.
An operation led by the APE
It's a unique charity event which is being prepared in the commune, supported by the parents' association (APE) of the four seasons school.
For the president, Anne-Laure Malherbe, “the Telethon is an important cause, which helps raise children’s awareness of the disease. A Telethon challenge for the students will also be organized by the teachers.
APE volunteers will also provide on-site a sale of cakes and drinks for the benefit of the national demonstration.
Cycling tour
On Saturday November 23, 2024, a cycling trip will start at 9:30 a.m.. Damien Espanoche, representative of Fil de l’Énergie and responsible for this cycling challenge, explains: “this hike from the school is open to everyone. It is a 35 km loop to Pont-d'Ouilly. It will take place in groups, at a leisurely pace, with a motorbike in front of the peloton and a truck behind.
Marche 8 km
The start of the 8 km hike will be at 10 a.m. at the school. “It is marked and framed, a refueling point is plannedas well as a friendly drink on arrival,” explains Aline Pelluet, deputy mayor and head of the communication, culture and entertainment commission.
Program: a supervised, regulated road bike route of 38 km – departure 9:30 a.m. A marked hiking trail of 8 km – departure 10 a.m. A challenge for children with two fun and sporting courses from 9:30 a.m. Registration on site from 9 a.m. or on helloasso. Participation for the hikes is free, with a minimum set at €3. Possibility to register or make a donation online or on site.
