Tropical storm Bheki passed south of Reunion, at a good distance, on the night of Thursday 21 to Friday 22 November 2024, leaving behind showers and gusts of wind in the west and south of the island and the swell. The tropical storm Look passed south of Reunion, a good distance away, during the night of Thursday 21 to Friday 22 November 2024, leaving behind showers and gusts of wind in the west and south of the island and swell. The effects of the depression system, however, remained moderate. No cyclone alert has been issued. The passage of this storm marks the entry into the hurricane season which will last until May. Which corresponds to the rainy season and the southern summer. At the beginning of October 2024, a first system was named by Météo France. A lot had remained very far from the island.
