Météo France had placed Maine-et-Loire in orange this Thursday, November 21 for violent winds. And as announced, the gusts reached more than 110 km/h, especially in the southern part of the department. In total, 9,500 homes found themselves without electricity, report our colleagues from Ouest-France.
The municipalities of Maulévrier, Yzernay, Montrevault-sur-Èvre and Chemillé-en-Anjou are the most impacted.

Enedis has deployed nearly a hundred agentss are on the ground. Technicians worked until late to check all the lines.
As of 10 a.m. Friday morning, 4,000 homes were still without power.
“The majority of customers will be replenished at the end of the afternoon,” estimates Enedis. For their part, the firefighters recorded nearly 500 interventions this Thursday, November 21.
Temperatures are expected to rise until Sunday and the wind will blow again this weekend, but to a lesser extent.
