The month of December hasn't started yet, but the Christmas spirit begins slowly settling into the Châteaubriant country (Loire-Atlantique). To get into the swing of things, the editorial staff of L’claireur de Châteaubriant offers you a list of Christmas markets to visit this weekend of November 23 and 24, 2024.

Loire-Atlantique: Christmas markets to visit this Saturday

• Chateaubriant. The Châteaubriant fibromyalgia association, in conjunction with the town, is organizing a Christmas market on Saturday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., then Sunday, November 24 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. It will take place at the Foyer restaurant, on the Esplanade des Terrasses. Children's cake-making workshops (at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.) and carriage rides (from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.) are planned. Santa will be there at 4 p.m.
• Bouvron. A musical Christmas market is planned from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the initiative of the Amicale laïque, at the Horizinc hall. Musical entertainment, angling, raffle, visit from Santa Claus will accompany the exhibitors.
• Weird. Saturday November 23 and Sunday November 24, the Christmas market will bring together more than 50 exhibitors. Market, balloon sculptures, rides, visits to the medieval castle, activities at the library, lantern hike and concert are planned.
• Guenrouët. Saturday 23 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday 24 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., a market for local producers, traders and artisans can be found in the multipurpose room. The presence of Santa Claus and his photographer, face painting for children, Sunday walks with donkeys and a musical show are among the things on the program.
• Coësmes. Saturday 23 from 2:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday 24 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., find a Christmas market at the sports hall, organized by the municipality. Around twenty stands will be run by local traders and artisans. An exhibition will also be installed, just like Santa's mailbox.

Other Christmas markets this Sunday

• Moisdon-la-Rivière. In the Château de La Pinais lodge, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., around ten local exhibitors will be present. A photo shoot for families and couples will also be offered in a “love suite”, by reservation, with photographer Anais Sauret.
• Plessé. The ninth elf market, organized by the APE of the Notre-Dame school, will bring together artisans and creators at the sports hall from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. A creators’ raffle will also be organized.
• Loireauxence. The Christmas market is organized by the association of traders and artisans from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Meet at the Alexandre Gautier space to enjoy the many activities.
