Traffic resumed on the internal N104 this Friday, November 22 at the beginning of the afternoon. Traffic had been completely stopped at Saint-Michel-sur Orge. An accident took place early in the morning, around 6:30 a.m., due to icy conditions.
Despite the emergency sirens, the assistance vehicles struggled to make their way through the numerous vehicles stopped on the track. A motorist told BFM Paris Île-de-France that he had traveled only 5km in 1h30.
Around noon, traffic gradually resumed and vehicles moved slowly. A return to normal is expected during the afternoon.
The day before, more than 370 kilometers of traffic jams had formed in Île-de-France, before 5 p.m., because of the snow. This is the most significant snowfall in November in 56 years in Paris.
