The day after the passage of the Caetano storm, 1,200 homes were without electricity in Finistère this Friday, November 22, 2024, at the start of the morning, according to Enedis. A majority of affected homes are located in the south of the department. As a reminder, gusts of up to 156 km/h were recorded in the area, particularly at Pointe du Raz.
Objective: restore electricity within 48 hours
In order to restore power as quickly as possible, Enedis ensures “that its crisis unit operates 24 hours a day”. Nationally, “2,200 Enedis technicians and 400 service providers from all over France” started repairs this morning. “Enedis aims to resupply 90% of its customers within 48 hours”specifies the manager of the electricity network in France in a press release.
