Several major projects are underway on the Ile-de-France rail lines at the end of November. The weekend is once again marked by major preparatory work on the Northern network to change a railway bridge in Saint-Denis (Seine-Saint-Denis). Users of RER B and D, as well as those of lines H and K of the Transilien are affected. The interconnection of RER B and D is suspended at Gare du Nord and no RER D runs between Châtelet and Paris Gare-du-Nord, which could lead to heavy traffic on metro line 4 between the two stations.
Please note: due to bad weather, replacement buses serving sections of lines undergoing work may be canceled. It is recommended to consult the Transilien.com website to check your itinerary.
RER B
Saturday and Sunday, the interconnection is suspended again at Paris Nord. A train change will be necessary between the underground tracks and the surface tracks. Trains heading to CDG2 Airport and Mitry-Claye will depart from the surface tracks, tracks 32 and 33. Trains heading to Robinson and Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse will depart from the underground tracks, track 44.
RER C
Weekend of major works on the C: from Saturday to Sunday at 5 p.m., traffic is interrupted between Juvisy and Saint-Martin d'Étampes and between Juvisy and Dourdan. Please note, at the end of the evening on Sundays, traffic is interrupted between Paris Austerlitz and Juvisy. Sunday, from 10 p.m. until late evening, there are no trains between Saint-Martin d'Etampes and Paris Austerlitz. Traffic is also cut between Dourdan and Paris Austerlitz.
RER D
Trains do not run on Saturday and Sunday between Paris Gare de Lyon and Paris Gare du Nord. To take trains heading north, go to Paris Nord surface station, tracks 20 and 21. Please note: Stade de France station is not served. Furthermore, between Melun in Seine-et-Marne and Paris Gare de Lyon, only 1 train out of 2 runs.
In the evening, Saturday and Sunday from 11:35 p.m. until the end of the service, traffic is stopped between Goussainville in Val-d'Oise and Creil in Oise, in both directions. Trains traveling between Corbeil-Essonnes and Creil all return to Goussainville origin/terminus. For Creil, Orry, Goussainville or Villiers-le-Bel: trains departing and arriving from Paris Nord surface (tracks 20 and 21). For Corbeil and Melun: trains departing and arriving from Paris Gare de Lyon underground.
RER E
Saturday all day and Sunday until 4 p.m., the service is modified. No trains run: between Noisy-le-Sec in Seine-Saint-Denis and Haussmann – Gare Saint-Lazare, on the Chelles-Gournay and Tournan routes. Neither between Haussmann – Gare Saint-Lazare and Pantin on the Chelles-Gournay axis, and finally between Haussmann – Gare Saint-Lazare and Noisy-le-Sec on the Tournan axis.
The Rosa Parks and Pantin stations are not served in the direction of Paris on the Villiers-sur-Marne axis. Rosa Parks is also not served towards the suburbs on the Villiers-sur-Marne axis. Allow 1 train out of 2 between Nanterre-La-Folie and Magenta – Gare du Nord.
Finally, on Sunday, from 10:45 p.m., the service is suspended between Haussmann – Gare Saint-Lazare and Chelles – Gournay.
LINE H
On Sunday, trains do not run between Ermont – Eaubonne and Pontoise in Val-d'Oise. A bus service is in place. Please note: the RER C does not run during this period either.
LINE J
From 8:50 p.m. on Sunday, the service is stopped between Argenteuil in Val-d'Oise and Conflans Sainte-Honorine/Mantes la Jolie in Yvelines. A bus service is in place. Also on Sunday, from 9:50 p.m., traffic is interrupted between Argenteuil – Pontoise and Argenteuil – Gisors. A bus service is in place.
LINE N
No trains are running between Paris Montparnasse and Versailles Chantiers stations in both directions this weekend. And Sunday from 11:30 p.m., no trains either between Paris Montparnasse and Plaisir – Grignon.
LIGNE 6
On Sunday, the portion of line 6 between Nation and Daumesnil is closed due to modernization work. Replacement buses are planned.
LIGNE 14
All day Sunday, line 14 is completely closed due to modernization work. Replacement buses will be set up in Paris, between Gare de Lyon and Olympiades.
