It is now a tradition of the competition Miss France. Each year, candidates must take a quiz and answer a series of general knowledge questions. News, history-geography, logic, arithmetic, spelling, but also sport and entertainment… they must know about all these areas.

Although this is an important step in the selection process of the 30 candidates, obtaining a good score in the quiz does not guarantee being among the finalists on the big day. Last year, Adeline Vetter, Miss Alsace, had obtained the best score in the quiz, but she did not manage to qualify among the 15 finalists.

The test also features dictation, introduced last year. Cindy Fabre, the director of the competition, had in fact estimated with Tele-Leisure that spelling was part of “the values ​​of our heritage” and that we should not “lose the exercise of words and letters”.
