The City of Bourg-lès-Valence reacts after the exit on Saturday November 17 of Justin Breysse, member of the Ecologists. The Bourcain spokesperson for the Greens affirmed that his party had taken legal action within the framework of the report of the Regional Chamber of Accounts on the management of the municipality, by making, among other things, a report to the public prosecutor of Valencia, to the Lyon financial prosecutor, or by filing a complaint with the National Commission for Information Technology and Liberties (Cnil).
A “pure pre-electoral controversy” for the municipality
“An all-out initiative, disordered and pure pre-electoral controversy,” denounces the Bourcaine municipality, which sees this as “a political manipulation” that could fall under the law for “slanderous denunciation in bad faith”.
For the City, “the questions raised all relate to the administrative organization of the municipality and not criminal ones”.
Concerning the file containing personal data of thousands of Bourcains, as Mayor Marlène Mourier (LR) had already announced in our edition of Friday, November 8, the City assures that the files mentioned in the report have been “deleted” and that she made a “change of service provider for the management of the GDPR”.
The municipality believes that “there is therefore absolutely nothing new in this artificially organized controversy”.
