The Entente Nord Lozère aims for a second home victory against the Lapalissoise Friendly Association

After this short break, Entente Nord Lozère (ENL) resumes the championship this weekend. The Énélistes welcome the Lapalissoise Friendly Association. The meeting will take place this Saturday, November 23, at 5:30 p.m., at the Baïsse stadium in Saint-Alban-sur-Limagnole.

The ENL is in need of victories this season and must get back into rhythm after losing its unbeaten streak by falling 4 goals to 1, against Riom FC.

A contested meeting

The Lozériens are currently fifth, just a small point behind US Saint-Flour and face Lapalisse, currently second in the standings. But, the green and white still have their chance. This season, the championship is very tight, with only ten points separating first and tenth place. There is little gap between the teams and no match is decided in advance.

This promises a very competitive meeting between two defensive teams. Indeed, Lapalisse does not score a lot of goals, but is very solid defensively. The Lozère attackers will therefore have to redouble their efforts to hope to break the black and red defense.

“Catching up with our mistakes”

Victory is imperative for Lilian Condon's men. They must regain confidence on their home ground, on which they are struggling to achieve victory, and not concede a draw again. A defeat at this stage of the competition would risk dropping the Lozériens into the bottom of the rankings, a situation far from favorable as the winter break approaches.

No changes expected

Despite their last defeat, the Énélistes were able to draw positive points from this confrontation, particularly in the second part of the match by being able to bounce back despite the score. “We're going to start again with something simpler that we can control better tactically.“, says Lilian Condon.

Regarding the workforce, no changes are expected. But there is a risk of rotation on the bench. Paulin Bigot, author of a very good start during the last match, should start.
