Their adventure began with the French perfumer two years ago, in Agen: “We were seduced by the values of the brand and by the fact that it was French-made and inexpensive, a rare fact,” says Inès Magné . They then took the gamble of becoming franchisees in the most important town in their department of birth and, very quickly, had other aims: “We didn't really wait to see if it worked in Agen before opening other stores. »
Monitored by headquarters
Today, they are also present in Langon, Montauban, Toulouse with two brands, and, finally, in Villeneuve-sur-Lot. Arriving on the Adopt adventure while the franchise was in full development in France, Inès Magné and Julien Sarrazin had no difficulty convincing the headquarters to follow them in their ambitions to invest in this part of France.
Their sixth address is surely the most important in the eyes of Inès, born in Villeneuve-sur-Lot: “I was keen to come to the city center, to help revitalize it, so that it finds the activity that I I knew in my childhood. » A year ago, when the Villeneuvois project was taking shape, Inès Magné nevertheless feared that Adopt's headquarters would not follow her “in a medium-sized town, where commercial activity is complicated, especially at the moment, where many franchises are closing their stores.” But at Adopt, we always work against the grain… “In the end, they didn’t hesitate. They trust us. They also found that, ultimately, it is in the hearts of small towns that their stores work best. They are a locomotive. »
A clientele of all ages
After a month of work, the brand opened its doors on rue de Paris, with its famous perfume library which is its trademark, offering more than a hundred different essences, renewed regularly, and all created and manufactured in France. . In a decor where neon pink has its place, Venus and Estelle are omnipresent in welcoming customers: “If we don't do a makeup session, Venus can do flash makeup in the store, she's the great specialist” , specifies Inès with a smile. The latter, although at the head of five other boutiques, chose the bastide to physically receive its customers of all ages: “Yes, it’s even surprising. If initially Adopt had positioned itself on young people, today, they are no longer the only ones to come, far from it. »
Inès Magné and Julien Sarrazin do not intend to stop there since they fully intend to continue to place the brand everywhere in the Greater South-West.
