The “Nautic en Seine” show will ultimately not take place. While it was initially scheduled to be held in October 2024 in Hauts-de-Seine, the event had already been postponed to April 2025 by the Federation of Nautical Industries (FIN), reports News Paris .
Initially, 250 professionals were to present their products to visitors to the Legrand port in Boulogne-Billancourt and to the Île-de-Monsieur nautical park in Sèvres. Unfortunately, that will not be the case this year.
Nearly 100,000 visitors were expected
The FIN justified this cancellation by “market instability due to external cyclical factors”. The 2023 edition had already had to be canceled. The mayor of Boulogne-Billancourt, Pierre-Christophe Baguet, regretted this cancellation to the Parisian even if he understands the reasons which pushed the organizers to make this decision.
Nearly 100,000 visitors were expected during the five days of the event. The elected official, who was happy to host this ambitious show, said he was ready to participate in the organization of a future edition.
