Road officials are ready

They are ready.

Since Monday, November 18, the roads agents of the Ardennes Departmental Council have been on war footing, facing possible bad weather and this begins with the preparation of the 36 machines. Bruno Petitdan, operations director of routes 08:

This also means the agents, i.e. 65 people, are on call and mobilized to varying degrees, Frédéric responsible for a road center in the Ardennes

Then depending on the established conditions, the 36 machines are engaged if necessary and the treatment plan is put in place Bruno Petitdan, director of road operations for the department:

The established plan concerns (since 2015) some 2,600 kilometers of departmental roads in the Ardennes and the treatment adapts: the ice can benefit from a pre-salting operation, the snow can only be treated once it is fallen.
