The Haute-Savoie resorts will open their doors gradually between the end of November and the beginning of January. After Chamonix, La Clusaz will follow on November 30. The majority of large resorts such as Avoriaz, Flaine, or Megève will welcome their first skiers in mid-December. Discover the forecast schedule for the opening dates of the resorts in Haute-Savoie.

Chamonix: from December 6, 2024 to May 4, 2025

  • Chamonix Mont-Blanc is the highest resort in the Haute-Savoie department. Capital of mountaineering, it is also appreciated for its ski areas in winter.
  • – 182 kilometers of alpine ski slopes
  • – 70 slopes, including 8 green, 29 blue, 20 red and 13 black
  • – 44 ski lifts

Avoriaz: from December 13, 2024 to April 21, 2025

  • Avoriaz is one of the largest ski resorts in Haute-Savoie. Located in the heart of the Portes du Soleil ski area, it is one of the 10 largest French resorts.

La Clusaz: from December 14, 2024 to April 14, 2025
