European Waste Reduction Week will take place from November 16 to 24, in Ernée (Mayenne).
It is in this context that several events will take place on Friday, November 22, in the morning, in the premises of the Broc'N'Grole recycling plant. “From 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., we will highlight local merchants involved in the Ecodéfis system and award them trophies,” indicates Thierry Mongazon, ecological transition advisor at the Chamber of Trades.
An electric cargo bike
“A soft mobility event, focused on cycling, with the presence of an association and a specialized company, will take place from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., on the recycling site,” says Anaïs Deshaies, Core Business Manager. The local Cyclocoop association will be present: this association aims to promote and facilitate travel by bicycle. The HPR Solutions company from Laval will present to the general public and professionals one of its flagship creations: Urbaner, an electric cargo bike.
“A Give a second life to your materials operation will be offered to artisans and traders in the Territory, all day long”, indicates Thierry Mongazon. Forty-eight local companies were contacted to come and drop off (in the form of donations) materials and equipment that they no longer use at the local recycling center. “The objective of the operation is to raise awareness among these professionals of the problem of second life and give them the opportunity to discover this site,” indicates Thierry Mongazon.
