“Apart from winning 4-0 at Ouest Aveyron on Saturday evening, my team made me happy with its management and the content of this match,” explains Faridi Aboubacari, the ESC coach, with a smile.
“Indeed, they negotiated this meeting perfectly, by turning the ball, but above all by being patient, while planting claws, as soon as the opportunity presented itself.”
The ESC was really the boss of the green square on Saturday evening and acted patiently, as such against the locals who had difficulty approaching the Combinois bars except on set pieces, perfectly captured by the black goalkeeper and white Alex, uncompromising in his goals.
The Combinois machine is revving up and the opportunities follow one another. In the 20th minute, Daoud drove into the local area and after a series of dribbles, finished the job with a cross shot and goal, and 1-0 for ESC. A score that will not change until the break, despite the visitors' control. The second act will be a carbon copy of the first, but the “black and white” will put more depth in their game.
At the hour mark, handball in the local area and penalty for the ESC which Hamza is responsible for transforming and 2-0. Then with a quarter of an hour to go, Guillaume Falippou, eccentric on the right wing, takes the local defense from behind and offers the ball on a plate to Hamza who puts it in the back and 3-0.
It happens from everywhere and the locals have the merit of holding on as best they can. The technical superiority of the Combinois collective and its players is obvious and Daoud once again will play the entire defense and score the 4th and last goal (85th), signing a double like Hamza.
“It's been the 3rd meeting that we haven't conceded a goal, a sign that the team is working well,” summarized the Combinois coach.
Next Sunday at 2:30 p.m., reception in the Aveyron Cup of Naucelle who is none other than the defending champion.
