On the occasion of the international day of the fight for the elimination of violence against women, the CIDFF of Haute Corse informs you of the events which will take place according to the following calendar:
- Monday, November 25, this year the CIDFF joined forces with the BASTIA Urban Community for the “Résilientes” show which will take place at ALBORU at 2 p.m. Danced, sung and read show about violence against women throughout history – 7 scenes reflecting the journey of a woman through history, and her resilience. In connection with Caroline Torres anthropologist, doctor in gender sciences and teacher at the University of Corté.
After the show, BTS students will speak to explain the work carried out with the CIDFF over several weeks and will project a power point retracing their thoughts and achievements on the issue of violence against women.
- Tuesday 26/11 at Paul Vincensini high school. (The action is not open to the public for security reasons)
The action will begin at 8 a.m. around a CIDFF stand with the achievements of the 15 students. Different classes will take turns viewing the exhibition and the CIDFF will intervene in classes to raise awareness about violence against women and gender equality.
- Tuesday 27, Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29/11, the CIDFF will join the traveling village of the Observatory of violence against women of the Collectivity of Corsica and the van drive Nina and Simon.es supported by the C3S association in collaboration with the Regional and Departmental Delegations for women's rights and equality in Corsica and Haute Corse.
The objective of the village is always to raise awareness and inform the public about violence against women in different parts of the territory.
Other associations and partners will be present, such as the Maison de Protection des Familles, the DIPN, etc.
In Haute-Corse, the village will take place:
– Luri 11/27
Location: town hall square, next to the college, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.. Intervention with a 3rd grade class from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. (C3S + CIDFF).
– Court 11/28
Location: parking lot of the Oriente bar from 9 a.m. to 3/4 p.m., in the presence of 3114, aiutu, mpf, crous.
– Red Island 29/11
Location: in the gymnasium parking lot, near the middle and high school between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
Location: on the market square from 12:30 p.m. – 4 p.m.
