There were around forty of them on the square in front of the Durieux clinic, on Wednesday November 13, 2024. Caregivers, for the most part, gathered to demand the resumption of activities at the Tampon establishment, in the south of . On November 5, the decision of the regional health agency (ARS) “to suspend surgery and endoscopy activities” fell like a blade on the clinic. “This decision follows an inspection carried out by ARS teams, having noted numerous shortcomings in the management of health risks and the control of the quality and safety of care within the establishment,” underlines the ARS in a press release.
