At 36 years old, Charlyne Vinet, a resident of Tracy-le-Montin the north-east of Oise, opened its own bulk, organic and zero waste grocery store in this village of 1,700 inhabitants. “An authentic place”, which came to life in a wooden cabin, which she built with her own hands.

In her shop called “Du local dans l’bocal”, she offers food in bulk, “mainly organic”, to “allow people to feed themselves and train in zero waste, with products better quality only in supermarkets at a fair price,” presents the professional seamstress.

Dried products, creamery, bread…

A project, a showcase of an ecological lifestyle, which she has carried out for two and a half years “with my own means”.

In its distributor shelves, you can find pasta, cereals, spices, flour, coffee beans, oilseeds, to pick up in its container, local productssuch as bread made by an organic artisan from Couloisy, as well as some fresh products (cheese, creamery and butter).

“It was expected by the residents”

In the future, the merchant plans to add fruit jellies et chocolatesespecially “for the end of year celebrations”.

I serve customers to distributors to be at their service and advise them. There is no such business locally. It was expected by the residents.
