Ille-et-Vilaine and Côtes d'Armor have been placed by Météo France on orange snow-ice alert from this Thursday at 6 a.m. 26 other departments are concerned over a broad strip which runs from Côtes-d'Armor and La Manche, to the Territoire de Belfort and Doubs, via Île-de-France. Arrival of the Caetano Depression
The Caetano depression will affect Brittany this Thursday, November 21. According to Jérôme Dréano from Météo Bretagne, the first snowfall will fall on the Monts d'Arrée and central Brittany at the end of the night, around 4 a.m. The depression will then shift towards the east of Brittany, to affect several sectors of the Côtes d'Armor around 5 a.m. According to the forecaster, the most exposed areas are the heights of the department: Kreiz Breizh and Mené. Ille-et-Vilaine will not be spared, in particular the Bécherel sector and the Pays de Fougères. In these areas there could be 8 to 10 centimeters of snow.
