Chickens, rabbits… The Curie school will reduce the number of animals welcomed in its park in Mayenne

The school council chose to reduce the number of animals welcomed in the animal park of the Pierre-et-Marie-Curie school, in Mayenne, Tuesday November 12, 2024. The management assures that the decision is not linked discovering a rabbit wandering near the park on November 5. Volunteers meet on Tuesday, November 19, to think about the new organization.

The animal park at the Pierre-et-Marie-Curie school in Mayenne will soon accommodate fewer chickens, rabbits and guinea pigs. The school council – made up of teachers, elected parents, representatives of the town hall and partners – decided “a unanimous reduction in the number of animals”, Tuesday November 12, specifies the director, Nathalie Foucambert.
