Revolut passes the milestone of 500,000 customers in Belgium

The British neobank has reached the milestone of 50 million international customers. In Belgium, it continues to gain new customers. It recently crossed the milestone of 500,000 users.

With 50 million customers, Revolut is establishing itself as one of the key players in the banking world in Europe. The British company has conquered the biggest markets in Europe. Its application is today the most downloaded banking app in , the United Kingdom, and in no less than 18 other countries of the European Union. In Belgium, it continues its rise with no less than 500,000 users.

Its detractors will tell you, however: Revolut struggles to convert these users into loyal customers. The amounts transferred to Revolut accounts remain lower than those of the competition. This does not prevent it from thinking big by now targeting the milestone of 100 million users and by focusing on a multitude of services for its customers.

Recently, the company deployed its eSim service, which allows its customers to obtain a Sim card in just a few clicks for travel outside the European Union. Its loyalty program, its numerous investment options (particularly in cryptocurrencies), and the unique advantages of its credit cards attract a growing number of consumers.

The neobank has a good financial record with a record profit of $545 million in 2023. It also obtained a banking license in the United Kingdom this year, which opened new doors for it. And unlike its main rival on the European market, N26, Revolut did not have to undergo a “forced slowdown” by the authorities.
