The Italian railway company will serve Chambéry and St-Jean-de-Maurienne from December 15, 2024 to March 30, 2025 with a departure on Saturday morning and a return on Sunday at the end of the day.

From December 15, Trenitalia will offer a new opportunity for travelers to access the Alps by train with the extension of its Paris-Lyon line to two new destinations in Savoie: Chambéry and Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne. Until March 30, every weekend, skiers and mountain lovers will be able to take advantage of these new connections, facilitating access to Savoyard ski resorts in environmentally friendly conditions.
The journey between Paris Gare de Lyon and Chambéry, capital of Savoie, will be completed in less than 3h30, and in less than 4h15 for Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne, a station served for the very first time by Trenitalia.
Also open for sale, the Lyon Part-Dieu>Chambéry and Lyon Part-Dieu>Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne routes will allow travelers from Lyon to access these stations via Frecciarossa high-speed trains.

– Possibility when purchasing tickets to reserve an atmosphere free of charge: Allegro space for a friendly atmosphere with respect for all or Silenzio space for a calm atmosphere, conducive to work or rest.
– All tickets are exchangeable free of charge and cancellable until the departure of the train, with a 20% holdback
