Thursday, November 14, the Vendée Cancer League celebrated the end of Pink October with an evening dedicated to thanks, organized at the Ibis Styles hotel in La Roche-sur-Yon. The event brought together around a hundred partners, service providers and key players who contributed to the success of this solidarity mobilization.
Funds in the fight against cancer
According to Actu.fr, during this October campaign, €285,000 was collected to support the League's actions. This amount, resulting from the generosity of donors and numerous local initiatives, will make it possible to finance various missions, such as support for patients and their families, prevention programs and research projects. “This success is the result of collective solidarity and numerous commitments on the ground,” the association said in a press release.
