The Rural Coordination took over the actions carried out by the agricultural world to protest against “ a situation which has only gotten worse since the start of the year”. Very upset, around fifty farmers gathered at 10 a.m. this Tuesday morning in the city center of Périgueux. Before dumping, union officials met the prefect at 11:30 a.m.

Upon exit, no significant progress justified stopping the mobilization. After discussion with his colleagues, Rémi Dumaure, president of the Dordogne Rural Coordination, took the floor to appeal to all the motivation of his troops. “ I need everyone. I'm going to ask you for a lot of efforthe began by haranguing the assembly. Tomorrow we are going to Brive; in tractors, and not for a day. We don't want to go there. Spending nights outside is no fun. I know I'm asking a lot of you. We are all breeders, we all have animals. But there is no choice, you have to do it. We are going to show them that a country without farmers is not a country. »

Block the fridges

The idea is to block food freight. Five or six departments will be present for this punchy action, according to Rémi Dumaure. “ If we block the A20 and the A89 and the fridges, in , things will start to react”he assures.

From 1 p.m., the tractors should be assembled in Corrèze; “ because we can stay there for days, empty our bins… they will clean up, laugh and it will be over”.

However, other actions are planned locally, this evening and during the night, for which the president of CR24 calls for discipline: “ You are all responsible farmers so things must not go haywire”.
