The forum is also open to all audiences: students, job seekers, etc.
“We can have ambition here”
This initiative, born as part of the educational city and managed by the local South Jura Mission, mobilizes all local actors : state services, local authorities, educational establishments, businesses and training organizations.
“It’s about show by example that in this territory we can bebe ambitious in our professional projectscareer, that it is possible to dream and have ambition », underlines Vincent Rizzi, sector manager at the Local Mission, in charge of organizing the Forum.
“The major challenge is to deconstruct the economic representations linked to the news of the economic fabric, which does not sell dreams. Jobs in industry have changed profoundly, but the image of the Charlie Chaplin factory still persists”
To change this image and reach younger generations born with YouTube and social networks, the local Mission actively participates in the “I film the job that I like” program.
“There are jobs in the area”
“Whatever the current economic situation, it is important to think about the future and reinvest in the field of training and guidance. We must break the idea for our young people that if we want to work it is elsewhere, we must show them that we can completely envisage our professional life in the region, that there are jobs, that there are dynamic companies, we need to talk about it, make it known and there is no better opportunity than the forum for that”
The forum, also open to job seekers and the general public, aims to be a real crossroads between the world of education and that of business, aiming to demonstrate that it is possible to combine local roots and prospects for future for younger generations.
