Tuesday November 19 begins the 40th winter campaign of Restos du Coeur. In Drôme, 700 volunteers and a mobile distribution truck have been mobilized.
Tuesday, November 19, begins the 40th winter campaign of Restos du Coeur. With 32 million donations from the French, the participation of companies and a budget extension of 8 million euros by the State, the association seems in better shape than last year. Six meals per week will once again be distributed to people in need, a figure which increased to four last year.
After helping more than 9,000 Drôme beneficiaries this summer, the Resto du coeur are launching new actions for the winter. This year, Diois will have the department's first mobile distribution truck, allowing residents unable to travel to be supplied. In order to manage general distributions, 700 volunteers will be mobilized throughout the department.
