On the night of November 18 to 19, 2024, a fire ravaged the roof and attic of a pavilion in Courdes, in Eure. One person was slightly injured and taken to hospital. Emergency services took care of five occupants and sheltered thirteen cats.

Around thirty firefighters from Eure were mobilized during the night of Monday 18 to Tuesday 19 November 2024 in Courdes, near Saint-André-de-l’Eure.
The alert was given at 1:39 a.m. for a house fire whose roof and attic were on fire. The ground floor served as the Department's reception house for three people, but only one was present.
A 27-year-old man was slightly injured and transported to Évreux CH. The other occupants, a three-year-old child, a 52-year-old man and two women aged 50 and 65 were also treated by emergency services. They will be relocated
Finally, thirteen cats were sheltered on the ground floor.
The intervention is still in progress.
