“When men live on love, there will be no more misery. » (by Raymond Lévesque) On June 25, 2024, at the age of 87, Mr. Alphonse Forest, husband of Jacqueline Arsenault, died quietly, surrounded by the love of his family. He was the son of the late Jeffrey Forest and the late Alexina Gallant. He leaves to mourn his children: Sylvie (Alain Quessy), Danny (Anne-Julie Marcoux), André (Sylvain Tremblay), Pierre and François, his grandchildren: Jean-Michel, Elyann, Amélia, Ismaël, Zacharie, Alexis and Mathilde, her great-grandson Noah and her granddaughter Lili-Rose. In addition, her brothers Xavier (Évangéline Nadeau), Fernand (Corinne Cummings), and joined the rest of her siblings who preceded her in death: Paul-Émile, Lucienne, John, Marie, Yvonne, Juliette, Laurence and Denise. He also leaves to mourn his brother-in-law Fabien Caron, his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Arsenault, as well as numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends. The family will welcome you at the Cap-aux-Meules funeral home on Friday June 28, 2024 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. The funeral of Mr. Alphonse Forest will be celebrated at the Saint-Pierre de La Vernière church on Saturday June 29, 2024 at 11 a.m. Burial will be privately held by the family at a later date. On Saturday June 29, the day of the funeral, the salon will open at 9 a.m. We’ll take care of the flowers, but if you want to highlight Alphonse’s memory, take a few hours and give time to a caregiver by doing an activity with the loved one and/or do a donation to the Fabrique Saint-Pierre de La Vernière at 1318 chemin de La Vernière, L’Étang-du-Nord, Qc G4T 3E6.
