Val-d'Oise: premiere of the Focus festival on the theme “mobilities”

He changed his name, but he didn't lose his interest. Formerly called the En images festival, it is now called the Focus festival. Carried by the Roissy Pays de agglomerationthe meeting takes place from November 30 to January 4, 2025 in several Val-d'Oisiennes towns. On the program, several events around photography and cinema on the theme “mobilities”.

With two airports, crossed by major roads and benefiting from numerous means of public transport, the agglomeration places the mobility at the heart of its issues. The festival will thus highlight the transport and travel that contribute to the dynamism of the region. The community then offers a close-up on this theme with a rich entertainment program and events in perspective.

Exhibitions, screenings and meetings will enliven the cultural places of Roissy Pays de France

The programming will be divided into three axes, through expositions photographs in the local media libraries, projections of films in network cinemas, and meetings et workshops related to the theme. The Focus festival also reserves several specific actions for young audiences such as an exhibition at child height, games, visits and much more.

As a highlight, the festival will present an order from the city from the photographer Samuel Bollendorf. This has opened the doors of large logistics companies like Fedex or JPGlocated in the territory of Roissy Pays de France. The exhibition will retrace his immersion in the daily life of warehouse workers. It will take over the Coulanges cultural center in and will be inaugurated on Saturday November 30 at 11 a.m.
