It's a trend: purchasing mystery packages. The My Mystery Parcel company organizes sales throughout France. From Wednesday November 20 to Saturday November 23, she will set up shop in the Carrefour shopping mall.
The principle is simple, buyers select the packages they want and pay by weight: 2 euros per 100 grams.

“You can find everything, anything consumable: clothes, electronics, gadgets…” explains Louis Jardin, the co-founder of My Mystery Parcel.

Ban on burning lost packages
My Mystery Package was founded a little less than a year ago. “This activity became possible thanks to the anti-waste law of January 2022. Before, lost packages were burned. Now it's banned. » Louis Jardin and his brother François are now buying lots in order to offer them for sale themselves.
From November 20 to 23, 2 tons of packages of all kinds will be offered to consumers. “This is the weight we generally offer, and the two tonnes go away in three days. If any are missing, we can arrange additional delivery. » So there is something to please everyone.
But why is this business so attractive? For Louis Jardin, the answer is simple: “It’s a hit because it combines a sort of lottery and the feeling of opening gifts. »
There will undoubtedly be many of them opening their “gifts” about a month before Christmas.
