The third edition of European circular fashion trophieslaunched last June, celebrates companies and initiatives that put innovation at the service of the environment and textile sector.
Carried by the European metropolis of Lille, in partnership with theADEME and theLille-Kortrijk-Tournai Eurometropolisthese trophies aim to promote inspiring projects capable of reducing the ecological footprint of fashion and the textile industry.
Selected from 214 applications, the 15 finalists come from varied structures, from start-ups to well-established companies. They stood out for their innovations in terms of products and of servicesby adopting sustainable and environmentally friendly economic models. All these projects show an innovative approach to value creationin line with the challenges of social and environmental responsibility (CSR).
Two companies, from Levallois-Perret and Antony, selected
This year, two companies Hauts-de-Seine are among the finalists, in the category of projects placed on the market for less than a year. We find the company The Mendersbased in Levallois-Perretwhich is committed to placing repair and maintenance at the center of textile consumption. It offers fashion brands complete services of repairin-store and online, to extend the life of clothing.
LMSLH (Hands on hips)located at Antonymanufactures timeless and durable clothing, entirely produced in France from hempan eco-responsible textile fiber. The creations are sold by pre-order, promoting reasoned and local production.
The public will be able to support their favorite project by voting on a online platformopen from until December 3. The winners of theEuropean Circular Fashion Trophies will be revealed during the official ceremony, on December 5.
