The senator from Orne Olivier Bitz has changed parliamentary group. The former sub-prefect of Mortagne-au-Perche, elected to the Senate on September 24, 2023, left the Rally of Democrats, Progressives and Independents group (formerly LREM), to join the centrist Union.
