The story could have been told for the broadcasts of gag videos or at television news. In Vignats (), near Falaise, everything was peaceful on this Sunday morning of November 17, 2024.

The village hall was rented and what a surprise it was for the tenant of the town hall, Gwendoline, to see around 10:30 a.m. from the top of the window a wild boar in front of the town hall and in the village hall parking lot. After taking this photo, she immediately called Mayor Kévin Dewaële.

A beast of around 80 kg

The beautiful beast of around 80 kg stopped at the foot of the flag. He took a quick walk into the parking lot of the village hall where the door was open.

The wild boar went for his little trip to the selective sorting columns. He didn't go through the vegetable garden. After his little tour, he left quietly as he arrived.

Kévin Dewaële went to the scene but the wild boar did not wait for him. He went around everywhere around the school, the multipurpose room and the fields but the big pig got away well.

A gentleman who was leaving the room to put something in his car did not even see him as he passed behind him. Fortunately the wild boar did not come back, the door being open!
