. The rule of law in questions with the Human Rights League

The Human Rights League is organizing a round table on Thursday, November 21 from 6:30 p.m. at the Young Workers' Center on the theme: Rule of law, a worrying weakening. A few weeks after the declaration of the Minister of the Interior Bruno Retailleau, estimating that “the rule of law is neither intangible nor sacred”, while attacks on this principle are regular in certain member countries of the European Union, the rule of law, “cement of our democracies” as the European Commission describes it in its latest annual report, appears weakened.

So many crucial subjects that three personalities from different backgrounds will try to shed light on: Marie-Christine Vergiat, member of the national office of the LDH of which she was vice-president and former elected member of the European Parliament and vice-president of the LDH, Christophe de Bernardinis, lecturer in public law at the University of Lorraine and in particular a specialist in public liberties and Bertrand Mertz, lawyer, former mayor of , former departmental elected official and regional, author of The Rule of Law in Charge (Éditions Kimé).
