This November, Advent calendars are being snapped up like hot cakes. But one of them is the subject of a massive recall throughout France. This is the Celebrations Advent calendar, in the shape of a Christmas tree, indicates Rappel Conso.
This product was marketed from September 12, 2024 by numerous brands such as Auchan, Intermarché, Carrefour, Magasins U, Cora, Monoprix and Stokomani. Overseas, the calendar was sold in Nouvelle Sopri, Scagex, Morgan Vernex, Lim How Brothers and Bamyrag stores. The recalled product has the barcode 5000159500173. Several batches are affected. Their list is available online.
Allergens not indicated in French
A recall has been issued because there is a labeling discrepancy. The mandatory information does not appear in French, specifies the dangerous product alerts site. A risk of allergy is possible since the following ingredients are present in the product: barley, eggs, milk, peanuts, soy and wheat. People who are allergic to it should therefore not consume the treats from this calendar.
