Contribute to the development of culture

As part of its cultural competence, the community of municipalities supports and finances associative life. “Here, we seek to make culture accessible to everyone, throughout the territory and throughout the year. The projects supported cover the cultural field, but also that of heritage,” explains Freddy Terlizzi, vice-president of culture at Cauvaldor.

The Cauvaldor region has a very good associative dynamic. In 2024, 46 associations were supported, including 10 new ones who applied for the first time.

Financial and material assistance

In 2017, when the culture service was created, subsidies to associations represented €118,600. In 2024 the envelope for cultural and heritage projects reached €276,000.

Since 2022, new aid has been created to help project leaders in the publishing of works (books or CDs) with a territorial anchor. 15 works have seen the light of day thanks to this annual envelope of €10,000.

Finally, Cauvaldor supports associations by organizing meeting days such as the Culture and Heritage Forum which took place in September 2024 and by producing practical tools such as: the artists and authors guide, the QuiQuoiOù territory agenda? etc.
