No more popular images, La Poste is recruiting to cope with a peak in activity expected for the end-of-year holidays. In Haute-Garonne, 88 positions are to be filled between November and December 2024.

Up to 3 million packages per day

Like every year at this time, the sending of parcels will intensify. Beyond Christmas, other commercial events are planned, notably le Black Friday expected for Friday November 29, or even Single Day and Cyber ​​Monday. “The daily volume of packages to be delivered can reach up to 3 million packages per daycompared to 1.5 million in normal times,” assures the famous group with the yellow logo.

La Poste will have to process and distribute orders in record time. To strengthen its teams, a major national recruitment campaign was launched. Throughout France, 3,000 positions are to be filled for this season, including 88 in Haute-Garonne.

The profiles sought

La Poste is looking for employees “with a sense of service, rigorous, punctual, autonomous, with team spirit and good interpersonal skills,” explains the group.

Future postmen must hold a B license.
