From Amsterdam to , progress report on Islamist violence

During the Amsterdam riots several nights in a row last week, men and women who were beaten had to shout that they were not Jewish in an attempt to escape their attackers. In , while the trial of the assassination of Samuel Paty continues, and while LFI called for demonstrations against the France-Israel match last Friday knowing perfectly well what had just happened in Amsterdam, the match ultimately took place smoothly but under unprecedented police protection of 4,000 men and in a sparsely filled stadium.

Finally, yesterday in Belgium the presentation at the FNAC of a book entitled Allah has nothing to do in my classby journalists Jean-Pierre Martin and Laurence d'Hont had to be canceled due to threats of ransacking sent to stores all week. Here is an extract from the back cover: “Why is the theory of evolution contested in our schools? Why are history lessons being questioned? Why did Samuel Paty pay with his life for the exercise of critical thinking? From Kabul to Brussels or , freedom of conscience is a target.”

In this very show, a scheduled guest preferred to decline at the last moment due to the threats he faces on a daily basis.
No progress, therefore, on Islamist violence in France and in Europe and on what makes it possible.
