Weather -Atlantique: the cold is coming

Monday will be a day of transition. In Châteaubriant, in the north of the -Atlantique department, the morning begins under clouds with a cool temperature of 5°C which will gradually rise to reach 12°C at the start of the afternoon. The southwest wind will be particularly felt, with a notable intensification over the hours.

The rain returns to the region

The afternoon will be marked by gusts of up to 50 km/h, while cloud cover will persist. The evening will see the wind strengthen even further, with peaks of 60 km/h, before reaching impressive gusts of up to 90 km/h during the night. Drizzle will appear late in the evening and continue briefly into the early evening.

Cool air arrives from the north during the night from Monday to Tuesday

On the Ancenis side, the situation will be similar with overcast skies throughout the day on Monday. Temperatures will be slightly milder there, hovering around 9°C, and drizzle is also expected in the evening.

For both cities, the night will remain mild for the season with temperatures around 11-12°C, accompanied by strong wind and persistent cloud cover.

Cold air and showers expected

For Tuesday, the weather will remain overcast throughout the region, with intermittent drizzle. Temperatures will be in line with seasonal norms, with an average of 11°C and a peak of 14°C in the early afternoon.
