The prefect of Lot presented to the elected officials of Quercy Bouriane the areas of work for 2025

Wednesday, November 13, Jean-Marie Courtin, mayor of Gourdon and president of the Quercy-Bouriane community of communes, had planned a visit to the Gourdon structures for Claire Raulin, prefect of Lot, and Amel Tir, sub-prefect of Gourdon. In the evening, in the conference room of the community house, personalities from the Lot department developed the different aspects of the year 2025 to elected officials of the CCQB and their advisors.
The line to follow in 2025 was explained by the prefect of Lot, who channeled the interventions and debates. Dominique Roure, sub-prefect and chief of staff of the prefect, accompanied him.

Accommodation. Claire Raulin announces that a law will come into force in 2025 to regulate Airbnb-type tourist rentals. The DPE will be compulsory, taxation will be increased, and above all it will offer reinforced powers to mayors. Renewable energy and fire prevention. Pierre-Antoine Morand, director of the Lot DDT, recalls that EPCIs have the necessary skills to promote the development of renewable energies. Drawing on the skills of the ONR, municipalities will have to identify areas usable for photovoltaics and make them acceleration zones. On the other hand, regarding firefighting, owners will have the obligation from January 1, 2025 to clear their plots.

Security. Lieutenant-Colonel Jérôme Martin, accompanied by squadron leader Mehdi Latrêche, summarized the security situation. At the Gourdon brigade, many officers have been assigned and better equipped, a dog from the Gramat kennel completes the effectiveness of operations against delinquency or drug trafficking. Domestic violence is also a major concern.

Education. Sophie Sarraute, academic director of National Education Services, points to demographics in free fall. She affirms that despite the missing numbers, the number of classes and teachers has been preserved. It promotes education for the future.
