Traffic disrupted this Monday, November 18 in Île-de-France. Due to the mobilization of farmers against the proposed free trade agreement with the Mercosur countries, a demonstration is underway on the N118 towards Paris near Vélizy-Villacoublay.
“The N118 is currently closed to traffic,” warns Sytadin, who warns shortly before 7 a.m. of difficulties upstream between Les Ulis and Bièvres on this axis.
Several roads to avoid
The traffic information site recommends that motorists avoid the area, prioritizing other roads.
Other routes should also be avoided, such as the RN12, the D446 and the D117 from Houdan to Velizy, as well as the A10 motorway and the N118 from the Longvilliers toll booth to Vélizy. The prefecture also recommends not taking the RN20, from Étampes to the junction with the RN104 then with the A10.
Finally, it is recommended not to take the RD74 near Auvernaux, the RD17 and the RD117 until the junction with the RD19 near the communes of Brétigny-sur-Orge and Egly.
In a press release, the prefects of Yvelines and Essonne indicate that the mobilization must end this Monday at 2 p.m.
