A cultural ambition at the service of youth, the Regional Arts Academy is bornLuxe Radio

Contributing to the artistic development of young people while democratizing their access to culture, this is the objective set by the Al Mada Foundation, the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports, as well as their partners Attijariwafa bank and inwi, through the launch of the Regional Arts Academy…

The result of an unprecedented partnership, this initiative is based on an educational model already tested in Casablanca since 2009 thanks to the Attijariwafa bank Foundation. This program, which has supported nearly 2,000 students in the visual and digital arts, is now moving to a new scale with the opening of pilot classes in Rabat and Tangier for the 2024/2025 school year.

Reinvented spaces for innovative pedagogy… In Rabat, the Villa des Arts, an emblematic place of culture, and in Tangier, the Center for artistic development under the Regional Academy of Education and Training (AREF), welcome nearly 300 young people aged 15 to 21. These spaces, designed to meet the aspirations of students, offer a unique educational approach based on projects integrating contemporary disciplines and digital arts.

Participants, supervised by experienced professionals, also benefit from cultural outings and immersive masterclasses. The objective is clear: to cultivate their creativity while making them aware of the opportunities offered by the artistic sector, which has become a lever for the future in a rapidly changing society.

A program rooted in a long-term vision since this regional expansion marks a decisive step for the Academy of Arts. It illustrates the partners’ common commitment to inclusive and quality arts education, faithful to the vision carried by the Al Mada Foundation. Supported by its motto “Positive Impact”, the latter continues to anchor its action in projects with a strong social footprint, at the intersection of education, art and innovation.

With the Regional Arts Academy, artistic education becomes not only a vector of cultural transmission but also a gateway to the future for a new generation of young talents.
