41st Fenouillèdes rally: and six for Jordan Berfa, above the rest

This is definitely the year of success for Jordan Berfa! On the sidelines of its victorious program in the 2nd division French Championship, the Tarnais took care to dominate the Fenouillèdes rally this weekend. An event that is particularly dear to him, which he won for the sixth time in seven years, in the company of his mother Nathalie!

Above the rest from the first two passes in the double SS on Saturday, the driver of the Hyundai i20 Rally2 then continued to widen the gap during the night loop, then in the four Sunday special stages. Enough to allow him to reach the finish park of Ille-sur-Têt with more than 1'45'' ahead of his immediate pursuer and after having deprived the competition of the slightest scratch time on the 10 stage contested.

Serieys on the podium

At this level, Ayrton Lechartier, who came from with his Citroën C3 Rally2, immediately established himself as the fastest of the opponents after notably taking the measure of Guillaume Genesca (Skoda Fabia) and Matthieu Fassio (Alpine A110). The latter subsequently forced to abandon, this third place was the subject of a superb duel on Sunday between Lucas Darmezin (Peugeot 208) and Jérémie Serieys (Clio R3), the latter obtaining the final word for less than two seconds. A podium for the Hérault driver, accompanied by a group victory, which translates for him into an excellent operation in the Méditerranée league championship, of which he is seeking the 2024 title.
