Parisian schools will be disrupted this week. In a press release, several unions (Supap-FSU, CFDT and CGT) in the after-school sector called for a “massive strike” from Tuesday 19 to Friday 22 November. Dates which are not chosen at random, since the Paris Council must also be held at the same time.

Several demands

The unions are demanding the reclassification into “category A of extracurricular directors (REV)”, “a contract for temporary workers” and a “REP/REP + bonus for facilitators”. Targeting the dates of the Paris Council, they hope to obtain “a timetable for negotiations with the City”. “For an amount less than a full day of strike, we can close services for four days! And with massive mobilization, we will gain much more! », they write.

This strike movement, spread over four days, will take place at the time of the interclass between 11:25 a.m. and 12:25 p.m.. In the establishments concerned, the school canteen will therefore not be provided, as will certain extracurricular activities.

A general assembly will be held next Thursday, at 2 p.m., in front of the Bourse du Travail (Paris, 10th) “to take stock of the mobilization and consider flight”. For several months, agents in the after-school sector have been regularly on strike to obtain improvements in their working conditions.
