A tragedy occurred this Saturday, November 16 on the railway line between Metz and Strasbourg, on the outskirts of the small town of Racrange near Morhange. Around 7:30 a.m., a pedestrian who was on the tracks was fatally struck by a passenger train. The theory of suicide seems favored, the accident having occurred in the countryside and a bicycle having been found near the scene of the tragedy.
According to our information, the deceased man did not have any identification papers with him. Gendarmes from the criminal identification unit of the Moselle group were dispatched to the scene to carry out investigations.
