Organized by the Kit Culture association and the commune of Beaupuy (Lot-et-Garonne), the book fairBeaupuy se Livre, returns this year on November 16 and 17 for an edition during which there will be even more meetings and activities with the public.

Children will not be missing out with continuous workshops dedicated to them.

An attractive program in Beaupuy

On Saturday, November 16, at 11 a.m. at the Beaupuy Library, meeting with journalist and writer Eric Decouty. Then at 2 p.m., the book fair will officially open its doors in the Collinéum Pascal Laperche with 36 authors (novels, essays, heritage, detective stories, dark novels, youth, etc.) who will dedicate their works, two neo-Aquitaine publishing houses as well as the Adel47 association.

Debates and round tables will take place at 2:15 p.m. with Paolo Bellomo, at 3:30 p.m. a debate on “How to write about mental disorder?” » and at 4:30 p.m., a round table around Geography and Literature.

Board games will be accessible to all from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. as well as creative and makeup workshops and a continuous reading lounge.

Come and test yourself during Dictation for All

On Sunday, authors will continue to sign their books to visitors from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. A new feature is eagerly awaited this year, it is “ Dictation for All » which will take place in the Guy Couzineau village hall. This will be the opportunity to test your spelling in a good-natured atmosphere, without notes or judgment.

Two categories (schoolchildren and adult teenagers) for this dictation read by a classics teacher. Meetings with authors and publishing houses will take place at 10:30 a.m. with “History and fiction”, at 11:30 a.m. on the theme Publishing in New Aquitaine and at 2:30 p.m. with “Travel and writing”.

From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. board games and all day continuous creative and makeup workshops as well as a reading room. “Évasion Nature” photography exhibition all weekend and readings aloud on Saturday at 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. and Sunday at 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. The show will close its doors at 5:30 p.m. Free entry.
