The Ars-sur- Amazigh film festival continues Saturday and Sunday

The International Amazigh Film Days (JIFA) of Ars-sur-, a unique event of its kind in the region, is celebrating its 8th edition this year.

This presents several documentary films at the Union Cinema this Saturday and Sunday.

THE BLACK PATH
Feature film, documentary by Abdallah BADIS | FR 2009 | 80 mins.

FOUROULOU

The film retraces the journey of Fouroulou Menrad, the main character of Mouloud Feraoun's (1913-1962) first novel, Le Fils du pauper, published in 1950. The work, where the author introduced autobiographical elements from his childhood to village Tizi Hibel, traces the life of Fouroulou, the shepherd child born into a poor family, in a small village in Kabylie, and who will become a teacher.
